Reproductive Barriers Help Species Seperate

Prezygotic Barriers prevent mating or fertilization which include temporal isolation, habitat isolation, behavorial isolation, mechanical isolation, and gametic isolation. Postzygotic Barriers prevent the development of fertile adults and they include reduced hybrid viability, reduced hybrid fertility, and hybrid breakdown. Being seperated by geographic barriers may prevent similiar species from interbreeding but geography is not an intrinsic part of an organism as we can tell.
