Pandas' home range may move as climate changes.

Favorite food may run scarce by the end of this year for China's famous Qinling pandas. Three bamboo species native to central China's Qinling Mountians might move as the climate changes says Scientist. In the Qinling Mountians that are home to 270 some pandas, Mao-Ning Tuanmo and his colleagues at Michigan State University mapped the best suited areas suited to the three bamboo species. Shifting to higher elevations and becoming more isolated from the surrounding areas would be the best area suited for bamboo growth. The main thing is a fragmenting of panda habitat and a shortage of bamboo. With warming conditions, it forces animals' food source, and bamboo to higher elevations.
