Curiosity on Mars sits on rocks similiar to those found in marshes in Mexico

A martian crater where NASA's Rover Curiosity roams is similar to what was found over a million of years ago when water and fire forged the gypsum rocks to Cuatro Cinegas, which is a Mexican valley. As said by Valeria Souza, a evolutionary ecologist at the National Autonomous University of Mexico or UNAM. In order to form gypsum a researcher states that sulphur components from magma and minerals from the sea are required which makes up carbonates and molecules with magnesium. Its is believed that a very large meteorite crashed into the primitive sea, but scientists in the case of Mars haven't been able to confirm tectonic movement in its crust at any point. There is no other place like the martian environment except for one place and that is Cuatro Cienegas.
