According to Andrew Freedman who is climate science writer and spokesperson for Climate Control states there is 5 truths about the connection between climate change and storms which are 1) Hurricane Sandy's extremely large size is rare but not expected. 2) In the future, North Atlantic hurricanes will drop in frequency, but grow in intensity. 3) Hurricanes outside the North Atlantic, however, may grow both in size and frequency. 4) Attempts to weaken hurricanes intensified by climate change don't work.
